This is a striking disco era top made in India of 100% silk and decorated in silver and gold sequins.  The top is similarly decorated on the back as the front with a butterfly surrounded by other sequining.  The top itself has a rather Butterfly-like form.  There is no size label, but I think that this should fit a large size.  The shoulders are padded and it measures 18” across the shoulders from the end of one pad to the end of the other pad and 56” around, taken at the bottom of the arm openings - the piece measures 24 1/2” in length, measured flat.  This is a loose fitting garment, so should fit a range of large sizes and probably medium sizes, although the top would hang differently.  It is in very good condition with no loose sequins or other wear or tear.  There is no label, but these were made in India, with either a silk or rayon fabric base.

This is a flashy top - very sparkly under the lights, fun disco era piece!
